Combine the following in a large bowl:
- 3 cups Oatmeal (I prefer Old Fashioned)
- 1 Cup ground Golden Valley Flax
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- ¼ cup of whole Golden Valley Flax
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- cup coconut flakes
In a small bowl combine the following:
- 2/3 cup canola oil
- ½ cup honey
Mix the oil, honey mixture into the large bowl. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spread mixture on the cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Mix every 15 minutes.
Add 1 cup dried cranberries immediately after removing from oven.
