Emily’s Granola

Combine the following in a large bowl:

  • 3 cups Oatmeal (I prefer Old Fashioned)
  • 1 Cup ground Golden Valley Flax
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup of whole Golden Valley Flax
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • cup coconut flakes

In a small bowl combine the following:

  • 2/3 cup canola oil
  • ½ cup honey

Mix the oil, honey mixture into the large bowl.  Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.   Spread mixture on the cookie sheet.  Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.  Mix every 15 minutes.

Add 1 cup dried cranberries immediately after removing from oven.
