Ingredients
- ½ cup applesauce (0 saturated fat, 10mg sodium, 13g carb,2g fiber, 0 protein- per ½ cup)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup yogurt (1gm saturated fat, 10 mg cholesterol, 110 mg sodium, 0 fiber, 6 g protein- per 1 cup)
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 ripe mashed bananas
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (0 saturated fat, 2 gm dietary fiber, 0 cholesterol, 5mg sodium, 21 gm total carbs, 4 g Protein- per ¼ cup)
- 1/2 cup ground Golden Valley Flax (0 saturated fat, 0 cholesterol, 0 sodium, 4g carbs, 4g fiber, 4g Protein, 3,800mg Omega-3’s- per tablespoon)
Directions
Mix together and put in a loaf pan and bake for 45 – 60 minutes. Banana Bread is done with toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
